Project Overview

ABOUT

Capital One is a financial technology company with a mission to help its customers succeed by bringing ingenuity, simplicity, and humanity to banking. I participated in the In-Person Experiences team by designing a digital promotional card for Capital One Cafes.

Over the course of 10 weeks, I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and I accomplished various project-specific goals as well as outside of the problem space.

 WHO I MET ALONG THE WAY

Capital One's emphasis on networking, mentorship, and cohort support enabled me to make many meaningful connections during my internship. I met my intern cohort, team, executives, and fellow design development associates through design jams, conferences, workshops, meet & greets, and offsite events!

Reflections & Key Takeaways

Be curious.

Look for opportunities to further my learning and development through people and projects, and if there aren't any...create opportunities!

Build relationships.

My most memorable moments from this summer were from spending time with fellow interns, associates, & team!

Embrace challenges. 

Obstacles can be daunting and come with every project, but being proactive and resourceful helped to overcome these challenges.
